The Creative Economy Agency (Public Organization) or CEA, is advancing Thailand’s content industry onto the global stage through the launch of Bangkok International Content Market 2026 (BICM2026) — Thailand’s first international content marketplace and business negotiation platform dedicated to the film, series, and animation industries. Held under Thailand Content Market 2026 (TCM2026), a collaborative initiative between CEA and the Department of International Trade Promotion (DITP), the event aims to position Thai content as a new engine of economic growth while strategically advancing Thailand toward becoming the “Content Hub of Asia.” BICM2026 will take place from 20 - 22 July 2026 at Queen Sirikit National Convention Center (QSNCC), Bangkok. 

CEA and DITP Join Forces to Position Thailand as the “Content Hub of Asia”

The collaboration between CEA and DITP will take place under the umbrella of Thailand Content Market 2026 (TCM2026), comprising two major platforms:

1. Thailand Content Market 2026 (TCM2026) by DITP, an international content marketplace spanning 12 creative industry sectors, including film, television and series, Y and Yuri series, animation, games, characters, books and e-learning, art toys, toys, board games, production services, and content services. The event aims to attract more than 300 leading international buyers, over 500 exhibitors, and more than 10,000 participants.

2. Bangkok International Content Market 2026 (BICM2026) by CEA, Thailand’s first international marketplace and business platform dedicated to film, series, and animation industries, designed to facilitate investment opportunities, B2B business negotiations, and international co-productions with more than 80 leading investors and streaming platforms from around the world. The platform aims to create new business opportunities and expand Thai content networks into global markets.

1. Content Pitching Sessions and BICM Pitching Awards

• A pitching platform featuring more than 55 selected film, series, and production-ready projects from Thailand, the Asia-Pacific region, and BICM’s partner networks. 
• The BICM Pitching Awards — including Asian Project Pitching, Thai Project Pitching, and Thai Story Pitching — will offer total prizes worth no less than USD 20,000 to support selected projects in advancing toward production. 

2. Creative Media Business Marketplace 

• A dedicated B2B networking and business platform spanning the film, series, and animation industries, designed to foster investment opportunities and international co-productions. 
• An Exhibitor Space featuring more than 500 booths for studios, creators, and creative businesses to showcase projects, services, and innovations while connecting with potential investors and business partners. 

3. Industry Forum

• A series of talks and panel discussions featuring leading industry professionals and experts from Thailand and abroad, offering insights into emerging trends, industry directions, and new opportunities within the global content industry.
